How It Started​

Our Story​

Our adventure began in May 2015, when our first son was just two months old. As loyal subscribers to Connecticut Magazine, we were inspired by their annual “Best of Connecticut” list—especially the section on ice cream. On a whim, we decided to visit every shop featured. We completed the list by the end of the year… and just kept going!

What started as a fun family project quickly turned into a passion. We began sharing our ice cream adventures on Instagram, where people enjoyed watching our journey unfold as our family—and our love for ice cream—grew.
Fast forward to today, and we’ve visited over 300 different ice cream shops, including every homemade scoop spot in Connecticut! We truly believe our small state punches above its weight when it comes to ice cream. After nearly a decade of tasting, we’ve developed a strong sense of what makes great ice cream.

In 2024, we took the next step in our journey and bought a truck. Our mission? To bring together an “all-star” lineup of flavors from Connecticut’s finest homemade ice cream shops and share them with you. We hope that every scoop you try leaves you inspired to begin your own tour and discover just how sweet Connecticut really is!
